Volunteer

So you want to volunteer…Great!

This is a DIY (do it yourself) campaign. I will take no Corporate or PAC donations nor am I personally wealthy. Translation: grassrooots organizing, ordinary citizens, like you & me, giving some of our time and/or money to make this campaign happen. Time is short until Early Voting and Election Day. With your help we can win this election and forge a new path in Texas governing – one where open and transparent participatory democracy can live and thrive!

What do you want to do for this campaign?

  • Blockwalk – dropping flyers on doors OR walking and talking to neighbors
  • Phonebank – call ppl to inform them of campaign, events, and to remind them to vote
  • Put up a sign – know a good location?
  • Make signs (from recycled materials)
  • Create stencils, artwork, or other graphic design work for tshirts, stickers, etc. e.g., turn flyer design into a silk screen for shirts and posters
  • Hand out flyers at an Early Voting location(s)
  • Hand out flyers at a polling place on Election Day
  • Be a poll watcher – voter advocate and watcher of the process
  • Host a house/block party
